Doom eternal 60hz. How to make doom run 144hz. 144hz monitor game 60hz. Doom eternal is changing my refresh rate from 144hz to 60hz hi. Doom eternal is one of those games we always knew was going to run well.

My display has a framerate feature and it switches to 60 when i launch the game. I m trying to upgrade my pc accordingly for doom eternal s and i m not sure if i should get a 1440p 144hz monitor or a 4k 60hz monitor. Hi cant find a setting for the refresh rate it just goes to 60hz. I feel like the higher fps might be better since doom tends to be a very fast paced game.

Finally someone with a similar issue. Doom eternal changes my monitor refresh rate to 60hz in a 144hz monitor doom eternal. Every time i launch the game my monitor changes the refresh rate from 144hz to 60hz. Doom eternal hi i set 144hz in windows settings when i launch doom eternal my display seems to switch to 60hz.

Last edited by blake. My fps is showing like 150 180 but it feels off. I was tweaking with the track hell on earth which is also in 5 4 and had the idea to put the main riff notes d eb c e c and put them on the circle of fifths. Generally a constant 117 fps but sometimes i get weird enduring framedrops into the 60s where fps seems to hover for a certain amount of time before eventually recovering.

May 14 2016 4 12pm showing 1 15 of 37 comments. Fullscreen and borderless have this problem but not. Doom 2016 so i ve got vsync off. I have tried alt tabbing and changing it back but every time i switch back to the game it will change it to 60hz.

Posted by 3 years ago. Could the switching down to 60hz and then back to 120hz really have been it. I run doom eternal on a 2080 ti together with 3700x on lg c9 oled with g sync engaged vsync on in nvcp frames capped at 117 via rtss. Doom eternal holy shit mick you legend.

In windowed mode it is at 144. Id software has an excellent track record in this regard providing we ignore quake champions as i generally try to do. What do you guys think. I did update my graphics drivers a few days ago for doom eternal though maybe something bugged there the only other thing i could think of would be the fact that i made liberal use of alt enter to go to windowed mode.

Thats a pretty major bug somewhere in that case. I m most likely gonna use the rx 5700 xt as my gpu.
